Chat is the heart of Selira, the place where most of your time is spent, so it deserved a proper refresh. We rebuilt the experience on both desktop and mobile with one goal in mind: get out of the way and let the conversation breathe.
The result is cleaner, calmer, and faster to use. The layout has more room, navigation is smoother, and the small frictions that used to add up over a long session are gone. Nothing important has moved far, so it still feels instantly familiar the moment you open it.
More room for the conversation
The first thing you will notice is space. Messages have more breathing room, the reading experience is lighter on the eyes, and the interface fades into the background so your companion stays front and center. Long conversations feel less cramped and far more comfortable.
We also tightened up the visual rhythm throughout, so everything from message bubbles to action buttons feels consistent. It is the kind of polish you do not consciously notice, but you feel it in how relaxed a long chat becomes. The little things stop competing for your attention.
Designed for one hand on mobile
On mobile, the most common actions are now easier to reach with a thumb. Switching companions, opening image generation, and managing a conversation all sit where your hand naturally rests, so you spend less effort navigating and more time chatting.
The mobile redesign also loads faster and responds more quickly to taps, which makes a real difference when you are dipping in and out throughout the day. A quick five minute chat on your phone should feel effortless, and now it does.
We paid particular attention to the moments people use most: opening a conversation, sending a message, and jumping into image creation. Each of those is now quicker and steadier than before.
Familiar, just better
The goal was never to reinvent how chat works. It was to take something you already use constantly and make it more pleasant in a hundred small ways. Everything you rely on is still here, sitting where you expect it, only calmer and quicker to get to.
We resisted the urge to move things around for the sake of looking new. Change for its own sake is frustrating when it disrupts a habit you have built. Instead, this redesign respects your muscle memory while smoothing out the rough patches around it.

A cleaner chat is not just nicer to use today, it is the base we will keep building on as new features arrive. The more room the interface has, the easier it is to add new tools without making things feel crowded.
