So much of who your companion is starts with how she looks, and one of the most important pieces of that is her ethnicity. We just expanded that choice in a big way.
Three new ethnicities are now available in the creator: European, Middle Eastern and Indian. That brings the total to eight, giving you far more range to build a companion who looks exactly the way you imagine from the very first image.
Meet the three new options
European brings a distinct look that stands on its own rather than acting as a one size fits all default. Middle Eastern adds warm, striking features that simply were not an option before. And Indian rounds out the set with a look plenty of you have been asking for.
Each one is a real, dedicated choice in the creator, not a small tweak on top of something else. Pick the one that matches the companion in your head and the result follows.
Eight ethnicities, one simple step
You will find all eight in step three of the companion creator, under Choose Ethnicity. It is a single tap, sitting right next to the other appearance choices like body type, eye color and hair, so building your companion stays quick and intuitive.
The full set now covers a much broader range of looks, which means more of you can create someone who actually feels familiar, instead of settling for the closest available match.
Your choice carries through
The ethnicity you pick is not just for the first portrait. It carries through everywhere she shows up: in chat, in the image gen modal, and in the feed. That consistency is what makes a companion feel like a real character with a fixed identity, rather than someone whose look shifts every time you create something new.
Combined with the other appearance controls, it means the companion you design today still looks like herself tomorrow, and the day after.
