Every companion on Selira has her own look, and until now you picked between realistic and anime. We just added two more ways to see her: a painterly semi-realistic style, and Ultra HD, a sharper step up for photo-real images.
Semi-realistic: the look between a photo and an illustration
Semi-realistic sits right between realistic and anime. Faces stay expressive and lifelike, while light, color and skin get a soft, painted finish, closer to a film still or a piece of digital art than a camera snapshot. It is the style to pick when you want a companion with real character in her face and a little more atmosphere around her.

Her look stays recognisable from one picture to the next. Create her once, and she looks like herself in the library, in the park and everywhere else you take her.

Ultra HD: photo-real, with the detail turned up
Ultra HD is our highest quality option for realistic companions. Faces come out cleaner and more natural, skin keeps its texture instead of looking smoothed over, and fine details like hair, fabric and jewelry hold up when you look closely. It is the one to use when you want an image that could pass for a photo.

Ultra HD is a members only option and is marked as such wherever you choose a quality level. It takes a little longer than a standard image, which is the price of the extra detail.
How to pick a look
- Realistic for everyday photo-style images, fast and sharp.
- Ultra HD when you want the most detailed, photo-real result.
- Semi-realistic for a painterly, atmospheric style with a lifelike face.
- Anime for illustrated companions with clean line work.
You choose the style when you create a companion. Pick semi-realistic or realistic in the creator, and every image she makes in chat follows that look.
Try them on a new companion
